Hi! My name is Alan Thwaites and this website contains the large collection of photographs that I have accumulated over the years. In here you will find collections of phographs of railways, canals, trams and (some) buses. Also pictures taken on various social occasions - you might spot someone you know!

I have deliberately not listed folks' names and if anyone, on seeing themselves depicted wishes the photograph not to be on general display, please contact me and I shall be happy to remove the offending picture(s). Similarly, if you wish to know who is in a group that you recognise, then let me know and I shall try and remember for you!
